Treatment of Robotic Heart Surgery?

There are few specific and standard activities performed by a surgeon during a robotic heart surgery treatment. First of all, patients are put on general anesthesia and a breathing tube is used. Small keyhole-sized cuts are made on the chest to insert robotic arms through them. These arms are precision-made and fit to do the tasks needed in the surgery.

The doctor inserts a small video camera through the cut, which is controlled from a nearby console. Upon completion of the surgery, instruments are removed and cuts are closed. Based on the pain, patients are discharged from hospital. This surgery means quicker recovery and faster return to normalcy. In general, it takes a 3-week time for patients to resume normal activities from the time of surgery.
